All final races at each race
meeting weekend will be shown live on Sky's Men and
Motors.
ITV1
The UK Formula Ford Championship
was back on television screens all across the United
Kingdom this month (June) when Motorsport UK began it’s
26 week programming schedule on ITV.
Following on from last year’s
successful series, Motorsport UK, filmed
by Granada Media, once again follows the fortunes of
drivers within the UK Formula Ford Championship as they
battle it out for the 2003 title.
Each programme, which will be
broadcast on terrestrial ITV1 as well the satellite,
digital and cable channel Men and Motors, is 30 minutes
in length and is repeated two nights later. Last season
viewing figures topped the two million mark and it is
expected the series will be more successful this year.
In addition to race edits
Motorsport UK will delve into the paddock with
interviews with team managers, drivers and officials to
give a real flavour of behind the scenes in racing.
In addition to this coverage UK
Formula Ford has benefited from LIVE television coverage
on Motors TV, which is free to satellite users across
the UK and Europe. Early viewing figures are estimated
at 300,000 per show.
